ROC badge in the window at Capel le Ferne Memorial site

The ROC Badge is displayed in the windows on the east side of the Hunting Lodge which look out onto the one time RAF Biggin Hill Station flag pole, the Battle of Britain Memorial figure and to the sea beyond. The Badge is located centrally in the third window from the right hand corner of the building and is flanked by the Badge of the 302 Polish Poznanski Squadron, (which flew Hurricanes from Northolt in 1940), and by the Badge of 603 City of of Edinburgh Squadron, (which flew Spitfires from Hornchurch). It could be said to be 'in good company'
